Born In Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1978. Cruz Jurado is an artist, who unlike the other artists we promote, uses Oil Paints. Cruz Jurado spent his childhood in the rural areas of Jujuy and Cordoba provinces, Jurado gained an early understanding of the land around him and took particular interest in the Horses he encountered. After studying at Consudec Institute where he became a Professor of Arts in both Drawing and Painting, Jurado went on to do short Post Graduate seminars at “Ernesto de la Carcova”, Post Graduate Institute. After this Jurado started to teach Art from his studio as well as take numerous commissions and exhibitions including having his work represented in the world renowned Cow Parade in Buenos Aires. Having been influenced by the people he has met in his life and the landscapes all around him, Cruz wants his paintings to stimulate our senses. He describes his finished paintings as “A window to the world around us”.
